Lesley is the Managing Director of The Engine Room, the multi-award-winning brand consultancy, based in the UK. During her 25 years+ in the sector, she has held senior agency positions and has also mentored many company owners in the business of design.
Her strong focus on strategic objectives and her results-driven approach have enabled her success in building major brands and launching new ones. She is interested in measurable returns and understands design in terms of impact, growth, service development and culture change. Lesley is a Design Associate for the UK’s Design Council and a former board member of the Design Business Association, the UK’s trade association for design.

Jason B James is a photographer and graphic artist known for his bold, surreal, and conceptual style. Based in Savannah, GA, his work brings unconventional objects to life in vivid, imaginative settings.
Though Savannah is his home base, Jason's work resonates globally. His unique style and storytelling ability make him a standout creative in both local and international markets.
Jason approaches projects with a blend of practicality and creativity. Whether he's working on a product campaign, rebranding a hospitality company, or crafting a food editorial, Jason enjoys projects that tell a story and challenge norms, all while maintaining a fun and respectful atmosphere.
Jessica Deseo
Jessica Deseo is a multi-hyphenate creative with an extensive background in graphic design. Her career spans across studio work, in-house design, and packaging. For the past eight years, she has been teaching packaging design at ArtCenter College of Design, where she champions sustainable practices within the curriculum. Under her mentorship, since 2018, her students have earned numerous prestigious awards for their innovative sustainable design concepts, including accolades from D&AD, The One Show, Core77, and Pentawards.
Beyond teaching, Jessica runs CoolWish, a PR/Marketing consultancy, helping design studios refine their brand voice. She is also a partner at PRINT Magazine, a renowned graphic design publication established in 1940. Jessica actively contributes to the design community through mentorship, including her work with the New Museum of Contemporary Art. Additionally, she has served on juries for the 2023 Young Ones competition, Costa Rica Design Week's 2022 "Sin Peña con Gloria," and the New Visual Artists program.
Grace Dawson
Grace is a brand consultant who has spent her career producing impactful work for brands, agencies and nonprofits. From global giants like ABI, Unilever, and Diageo to innovators Walker & Co and LUCI (Time’s Invention of the Year 2020), nonprofits UNICEF and the Wildlife Conservation Society — and even Hollywood A-listers — Grace’s experience spans a diverse range of industries and challenges. Originally from the UK, Grace began her career in London at branding agency JKR, managing icons like M&M’s, Snickers, and Twix. In 2015 she moved to New York, eventually becoming JKR New York’s Director of Brand, where she shaped its creative culture, launched standout work for Budweiser and Dunkin’, and founded the JKR Foundation to use creativity for good, launching work such as the Dream Charter School rebrand and introducing employee volunteer programs.
Today, Grace collaborates with brands, agencies, individuals and nonprofits to solve strategic challenges and craft work that makes a change. A speaker and mentor, she has used her expertise to inspire the next generation at D&AD Shift, ArtCenter and SVA, and judged prestigious awards including ADC, Dieline, and AME. When not working, she enjoys playing the ukulele and seeking adventures on open waters.
